Happy Friday babes! I hope you all have been having a great week so far! This week is such an exiting week because it is the start of a brand new year. With that, means it’s time to make a list of this year’s resolutions and goals.
I have been working on my list all week and I am really excited to see what this year brings! I am sensing it is going to be an awesome year!
Everything on my list is totally attainable while still making me push hard and work towards all of these goals.
Be more patient with others and myself. This is a goal I am always striving for and I really believe I have come along way from when I was younger. I used to be VERY impatient! I definitely have a ways to go though and would really like to focus on this in 2018.
Be a sweeter and more selfless wife. One of the things I love most about my relationship with Todd is that we can always joke around and have so much fun together. But I admit I definitely need to work on being sweeter with him more often and reaching out to him to find out what he needs from me. Marriage is all about growing and learning together.
Serve others more often. This is definitely something I need to work on. I feel like I treat others well and do small things for people here and there but there is SO much more I could be doing for others. I really want to be more dedicated to serving others more frequently.
Eat more “clean” foods. I am currently doing the Whole30 and I have been absolutely loving it! Yes, it is VERY difficult at times but I can honestly say I feel so much better, even after just a few days. Once I am done with the Whole30, I still really want to focus on cutting out as much processed foods as possible and cutting back on sugar and carbs…I eat A LOT of sugar and carbs (lol).
Drink at least 75oz of water everyday. I have already been working on drinking more water the past couple months but I need to keep working on this every single day. I NEVER used to drink enough water, so at first, this was really difficult for me. It’s amazing the difference water can have on your body and it really can affect your health if you don’t have enough H2O each day.
Only eat treats on the weekends. Ok, this is going to be a tough one! Even though this one kind of goes along with eating cleaner, this is something I really need to focus on. My mom is an incredible baker and chocolate maker, so growing up we always had treats around the house. From the time I was young, I have created a bad habit of over-eating treats. It’s hard for me to eat a meal and not crave sugar after, that’s how bad. I will never be the kind of person that cuts out sweets completely (lol) but I definitely want to make it a goal to eat them less often.
Be more organized. This goes for all aspects of my life, both personal and professional. I want to become extremely organized with my home, blog, work, etc. Organization is something that takes some time initially but is easy to maintain once you have a system down. Just have to figure out what works best!
Post on my blog at least 2-3 times per week. This year I really want to focus on posting more consistently and more frequently on my blog. You guys are the best and I want to be sure I am providing enough content for you!
Start my own business. My biggest professional goal this year is starting my own business. I have some exciting things happening and I can’t wait to share!
Sorry for the crazy long post, I hope you guys enjoyed hearing about what goals I am working on this year. Let me know what some of your goals and resolutions are!
Have a great weekend! xo
